Mark D. Griffiths
Mark D. Griffiths joined the adjunct faculty of USC, Marshall School of Business in August 2016. In 2017, despite claiming to be semi-retired, he became a full-time faculty member teaching economics and finance. Previously, he was the Jack Anderson Professor of Finance at Miami University and has served on the faculties of Thunderbird, The Gavin School of International Management (now part of Arizona State University), the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Lehigh University. Dr. Griffiths was a Visiting Professor of Finance at Texas A&M and NYU's Stern School of Business.
In the Summer months, Dr. Griffiths works training new hires in the Investment Banking community and has trained both analysts and associates for Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, CitiBank, Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, BlackRock Investment Management, Jefferies Capital Partners, Oppernheimer & Co. and Société Générale.
He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in Canada along with an M.A. (Economics), an M.B.A. (Finance), and two undergraduate degrees.
Tal Weiss
Tal Weiss joined USC, Marshall School of Business in August 2015 and served as a teaching assistant for the school's Corporate Financial Strategy and Applied Finance Modeling courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels while attending the school's undergraduate Business Administration program.
While earning his undergraduate degree, Tal held positions in private equity, investment banking, wealth management, and corporate finance.
Tal is currently an Associate at Ocean Avenue Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Santa Monica, CA focused on middle-market buyouts.
